Obituary for Teresa Waterman

Teresa “Terry” Macri Waterman, 91, of Winchester, VA died on Monday, January 9, 2012 at her residence.

She was born on February 4, 1920 in Huntington, WV, the daughter of the late James and Josephine Asaro Macri. She was a graduate of Huntington Business College and worked as an Insurance agent for East End Services in Huntington, WV. Her memberships included Women of the Moose, Elks Doe Club and Eagles Auxiliary.

She married the late Harry H. Waterman, Jr. of April 8, 1945 in Huntington, WV.

She is survived by a daughter, Joyce Waterman of Deerfield Beach, FL, two grandsons, Matthew J. Tardino of Winchester, VA and Vincent E. Tardino of Lansing, MI; one great granddaughter, Sophia Grace Tardino of Lansing, MI; and five brothers, Pat Macri of Crystal River, FL, Don Macri of Huntington, WV, Joe Macri of Chesapeake, OH, Arthur Lee Macri of Tulsa, OK and Jimmy Macri of Melbourne Beach, FL;

Two sisters, Marina Perovich and Rosemary Ransick both preceded her in death.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home Chapel with Father Brian Shoda officiating. Burial will follow at Shenandoah Memorial Park.
