Obituary for Betty Ann Eckley
Betty Ann Mankin Caswell Eckley, 75, of Frederick County, VA, died Thursday, July 1, 2010 at her home.
Mrs. Eckley was born in 1934 in Washington, D.C., the daughter of the late Charles and Mildred Mankin. She was a homemaker, and a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.
She married Thomas John “Ghon” Eckley on September 22, 1988 in Mt. Rainer, MD. Mr. Eckley died on March 25, 2010. Her first husband, Caldwell Caswell, preceded her in death in 1975.
Surviving are three children, Robin Maher of Durham, NC, Charles Caswell of Winchester, VA and Anna Van Laeken, also of Winchester; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; two sisters, Patricia Seaburg of McLean, VA and Nancy Mankin of Omaha, NE, and three brothers, Buddy Mankin of Cary, NC, Charles Mankin of Maryland, and Robert Mankin of Texas. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Bender and a son, Caldwell Chris Caswell.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Tuesday at Shenandoah Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
Pallbearers will be Charles G. Caswell, Christopher Maher, Andrew Van Laeken, Dylan Van Laeken, Timothy Delinger and Ghon Eckley.

Arrangements are being handled by Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel
via Omps Funeral Home.
