<p>Pastor Mark was born November 30, 1958 in Sandy Hook, Connecticut, son of Michael Lestik and Barbara Mae Drew Lestik.</p>
<p>He was a member of and the children’s pastor for Shenandoah LifeHouse Church in Winchester, Virginia. He became an ordained minister through Elim Fellowship in Lima, New York. Pastor Mark was passionate about all things related to advancing the Kingdom of God through every ministry he was ever involved with and especially in his ministry to and through his family.</p>
<p>He married Lee Ann Schlegel Lestik on September 24, 1988 in Aurora, Indiana.</p>
<p>Surviving with his mother and father of Williamsburg, VA and his wife are his daughter, Amy Lestik; three sons, Stephen Lestik, Gregory Lestik and Matthew Lestik all of Winchester, VA; a sister, Barbara Spicer and her husband, Randy of Albany, GA; and two brothers, Michael Lestik and his wife, Therese of Sandy Hook, CT and David Lestik and his wife, Marilyn of Chesapeake, VA.</p>
<p>A daughter, Amanda Joy Lestik preceded him in death.</p>
<p>A memorial service will be held 11:00 A. M. Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Calvary Church of the Brethren, Winchester, VA with Pastor Clarence Davis, Jr., Pastor Joel Flowers and Pastor Byron Wynn officiating. Burial will be private.</p>
<p>The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P. M. Friday evening at the church.</p>
<p>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mark Lestik Medical Memorial Fund with any BB&amp;T Bank.</p>
<p>Arrangements are being handled by Enders &amp; Shirley Funeral Home, Berryville, VA.</p>

<p>Mr. Gonzalez was born October 30, 1935 in Edcouch, Texas, son of the late Jacinto Gonzalez and Natalia Lozano Gonzalez.</p>
<p>He attended the University of Notre Dame and graduated from Florida International University in Miami, FL. After graduating, he joined the Army and served in Military Intelligence. His dream was to be a reporter and joined the Sun Sentinel in Pompano Beach, FL and also the Palm Beach Post Times in Palm Beach, FL and Nassau, Bahamas. He then joined the U.S. Army Intelligence again. He also joined the Army Reserves.</p>
<p>He later worked with the U.S. Department of Labor LMSA in Miami, FL and was promoted to Regional LMSA Director at Head Quarters in Washington, DC.  George moved on to Director of Veterans Reemployment Rights, from which position he retired.  In 1985 George founded The HAGO Company and in 1992 he founded Fort America.</p>
<p>Surviving with his wife, Anne Haines Gonzalez, are his son, George O. Gonzalez, Jr. of Chantilly, VA; a daughter, Natalie Gustafson of Lovettsville, VA; his grandchildren, Bartholomew George Gonzalez, Hannah Elise Gustafson, Christina Maria Anne Gonzalez, Hailey Kaye Gustafson, Marissa Katherine Gonzalez, Sophia Haines Gustafson and Nicholas Stephen Gonzalez; and his brothers and sisters, Rebecca Gonzalez Blomquist of St. John, FL, Raul Gonzalez of California, Eva Gonzalez Molina of Corpus Christi, TX, Jacinto Gonzalez, U.S. Air Force Veteran, of Corpus Christi, TX, Teresa Gonzalez Ruiz of Corpus Christi, TX, Mary Alice Gonzalez Baran of Arlington, TX and Edward Gonzalez of San Antonio, TX.</p>
<p>His brothers, Armando Gonzalez, U.S. Army Veteran and Luis Gonzalez, U.S. Army Veteran, Battle of Leite and his sister, Olga Gonzalez Reyes preceded him in death.</p>
<p>A Celebration of Life Service will be held 6:30 P. M., Sunday, June 23, 2013 at the Worship Center, Leesburg, VA.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Audrey Jane Morris Renforth, of Berryville, died Sunday, surrounded by her family at the Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center in Winchester, VA. She was 87 years old.</p>
<p>Mrs. Renforth was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Milton Renforth. She was born October 15, 1925 in New Castle, PA, to William Otto Morris and Frances Helen Gormley Morris.</p>
<p>She married Joe Renforth May 21, 1945 and raised her family in Parkersburg, WV. She worked much of her adult life at Quaker State Oil. The Renforths retired to Myrtle Beach, SC and moved to Virginia four years ago.</p>
<p>Mrs. Renforth was passionate about: her art, specifically painting, ceramics and stained glass, her great-grandchildren, reading, crossword puzzles, her violets, and most especially about crocheting. She was a member of Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church in Berryville where she was an avid contributor to Blankets from the Heart. She was also a loyal volunteer with Blue Ridge Hospice working at the thrift store in Berryville.</p>
<p>She is survived by her sister, Eula Morris Hardman of Ohio; three children, Tona Lee Renforth Bays of Berryville, Sheila Kay Renforth Stephens and her husband, Steve Stephens of Berryville, and Joseph William Renforth and his wife, Carolyn Sue Frederick Renforth of Washington, WV. Additionally, she is survived by four grandchildren, Stacy Stephens Sefton and her husband, Chris Sefton of Berryville, Shelly Stephens Pine and her husband, John Pine of Berryville, Mark Frederick of West Virginia and Sean Stephens and his wife, Anna Stephens of Australia; and eight great-grandchildren, Alexander Sefton, Rachel Sefton, Kathleen Pine, Liam Stephens, Ryan Stephens, Clay Frederick, Chastity Frederick, Cody Frederick; and one great-great grandchild, Fiona Betts.</p>
<p>Services will be private.</p>
<p>Memorial contributions can be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork Street, Winchester, VA  22601 or to Blankets from the Heart, Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church 210 East Main Street, Berryville, VA 22611.</p>

<p><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">A brother, Robert Wisecarver, is deceased.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">A funeral service will be Wednesday, June 19, 2013,  at 11:00 a.m. in Phelps Funeral Chapel, 311 Hope Drive, Winchester with Pastor Eric Farel officiating.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">Burial will be at a later date in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Middletown.</span></span></p>

<p>Mr. Keplinger was born May 5, 1953 in Winchester, VA, son of John Ralph Keplinger, Sr. and Jane Marie Golightly Keplinger.</p>
<p>He was the owner &amp; operator of AK Builders and was a member of Greenway Spirit &amp; Word Fellowship.</p>
<p>He married Barbara Keplinger on November 10, 1984 in Frederick County, VA.</p>
<p>Surviving are his wife and mother, both of Winchester, VA; two daughters, Brenda Lynn Chapman and her husband, David of Stephenson, VA and Julie Lynn Chapman and her husband, Darrell of White Post, VA; son, Larry Eugene Holliday, Jr. and his wife, Debbie of Winchester, VA; sister, Nina Grove and her husband, Tom of Frederick County, VA; brother, John Ralph Keplinger, Jr. of Frederick County, VA; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.</p>
<p>A grandson preceded him in death.</p>
<p>A memorial service will be held 7:00 P. M. Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Greenway Spirit &amp; Word Fellowship, Stephens City, VA with Pastor Robert K. Vineyard officiating. Burial will be private.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Thelma Ward Black, 82, of Stephens City, Virginia, died Wednesday, June 12, 2013 in the Winchester Medical Center.</p>
<p>Mrs. Black was born March 13, 1931 in Whiteville, North Carolina, daughter of the late Alonza and Lily Ward.</p>
<p>She was an engineer for C &amp; P Telephone Company.</p>
<p>She was a member of First Baptist Church in Front Royal, VA.</p>
<p>She was married to E. J. Black. Mr. Black died January 5, 2007.</p>
<p>Surviving are a daughter, Sue Rinker and her husband, Brad; a granddaughter, Dawnya Finerfrock and her husband, Brian; a grandson, Stephen Rinker and his wife, Allyson all of Front Royal, VA; and a brother, Randy Ward and his wife, Mavis of Bolton, NC.</p>
<p>Her brother, Reno Ward and sister, Elsie Bennett preceded her in death.</p>
<p>A funeral service will be held 7:00 P. M. Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at First Baptist Church, Front Royal, VA with Dr. Mark Jordon officiating. Burial will be 2:00 P. M. Wednesday, June 19, 2013 in Peninsula Memorial Park, New Port News, VA with Mr. Joe Parrish officiating.</p>
<p>The family will receive friends from 5:30 – 7:00 P. M. prior to the service in the church’s fellowship hall for a time of food and remembrance.</p>
<p>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church Music Fund, 14 W. First St., Front Royal, VA 22630.</p>
<p>Arrangements are being handled by Enders &amp; Shirley Funeral Home, Stephens City, VA.</p>

Breeden, 64, of Berryville, Virginia, died Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at his residence.</p>
<p>Mr. Breeden was born February 16, 1949 in Charles Town, West Virginia, the son of Marvin and Mabel Johnston Breeden.</p>
<p>Mr. Breeden was a member of Marvin Chapel United Methodist Church of Clarke County, Virginia.</p>
<p>Mr. Breeden was a graduate of Clarke County High School, Madison College, Woodland University with a Juris Doctor and was Alpha Gamma Sigma from Los Angeles Pierce College.</p>
<p>Mr. Breeden served as a Major in the United States Army Security Agency and served in Vietnam. Mr. Breeden was medically retired from military. Mr. Breeden also retired from D.O.J.</p>
<p>Mr. Breeden was active within his community where he was Marvin Chapel Methodist Church administrative board: past lay leader of Marvin Chapel United Methodist Church: past member of the National Red Cross Disaster Team: life member V.F.W. Post 2123: life member American Legion Post 41: member John H. Enders Fire &amp; Rescue Company: member of Virginia Community Criminal Justice Association.</p>
<p>Surviving are his mother of Berryville, VA; daughter, Amanda L. Breeden, of Winchester, VA; two sons, Jeremy A. Dunlap and his wife, Rebekah L. of Front Royal, VA and David W. Dunlap of Stephens City, VA; a sister, Judith D. Barthlow and her husband, Richard of Stephens City, VA; and one grandchild.</p>
<p>A memorial service will be held 2:00 P. M. Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Enders &amp; Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Berryville, VA with Rev. Dr. Ken Patrick officiating. Full military honors will be provided by Clarke County Honor Guard.</p>
<p>The family will receive friends and family one hour before the memorial service at the funeral home.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Nancy Lee Curry, 73, of Stephens City, died Monday, June 10, 2013 in Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center.</p>
<p>She was born July 26, 1939 in Winchester the daughter of Sewell Walter and Hilda Virginia Wolford Wilson.</p>
<p>She was married to Howard Eugene Curry, Sr.</p>
<p>Mrs. Curry had been a substitute teacher with Frederick County Public Schools and was a member of Christ Episcopal Church.</p>
<p>Surviving are her husband; two sons, Howard E. Curry, Jr. of Stephens City and Nick Randolph of Michigan; four daughters, Bonnie Smith and Angela Breeden both of Charles Town, WV, Martha Hyre of Summit Point, WV and Melisa Castallo-Harvey of Stephens City; a niece, Judy Cline of Clear Brook; twenty grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.</p>
<p>A sister, Elsie Chapman, is deceased.</p>
<p>A funeral service will be Saturday, June 15, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. in Christ Episcopal Church, Winchester with Rev. Webster S. Gibson officiating.</p>
<p>Burial will be at a later date in Gravel Springs Cemetery, Star Tannery.</p>
<p>In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Howard E. Curry, Sr., 5437 Main Street, Apt. 9, Stephens City, VA 22655 or to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork Street, Winchester, VA 22601. Arrangements are by Phelps Funeral &amp; Cremation Service, Winchester.</p>

<p>Surviving are two sons, Kennith Wayne Smith and his wife, Jennice of Baker, WV and Jackie Ray Henderson of Sycamore, IL; a sister, Sarah Daniels and her husband, Vernon of Front Royal, VA; two brothers, Oscar Smith and his wife, Barbara of Springfield, VA and George Smith and his wife, Jane of Casselberry, FL; one grandchild; two great grandchildren; a nephew, Bobby Smith of Front Royal, VA; and three nieces, Marsha Avise and Gail Rinker both of Largo, FL and Tammy Hardwick and her husband, Jimmy of Pinellas Park, FL.</p>
<p>Her sister, Carnetta Sizemore and brothers, Jimmy Chris Smith, Harley Smith and Donald Ray Smith preceded her in death.</p>
<p>Services will be private.</p>
